Born in Zürich, Switzerland in 1986, Trevor Franklin got his start in music at the early age of five through the influence of his father, who performed as a jazz drummer. Following this strong early influence, Franklin learned, practiced and occasionally played drums with his father’s band. Over the course of his school days, his musical education continued, and he received additional influence with his move to Spain at the age of nine. He continued to explore different genres, performing with a Spanish big band before transitioning to rock and metal as he grew older. He performed with numerous rock and metal bands in venues across Europe before moving back to Switzerland in 2008. There, he joined the gothic-metal band Elis, performing with it and other bands as part of the “Beauty and the Beast Tour” across Europe. Following this, he joined the renowned Swiss rock band Tribal alongside Khaøs guitarist Mark Rossi.
