Mark Rossi

Mark Rossi started playing guitar at the age of 16 and has continued to dedicate himself to it to this day. Songwriting became soon one of his main activities. Always attracted by the creative minds, great songwriters such as Lennon/McCartney, Astbury/Duffy and Kennedy/Tremonti, their capability of combining music textures with melody. Influenced by such guitar greats as Mark Tremonti, Billy Duffy and Slash, through his passion for writing music (and collecting vintage guitars), he co-founded the Swiss hard rock band Tribal, with which he recorded three albums. In autumn 2011, he felt compelled to follow the inspiration he found in writing music to begin a new project. After recording the first riff to what would become “Distress Signal,” in Rolf Munkes’ Empire Studios in Germany, Rossi formed the musical foundation for Khaøs. Mark’s driving force behind the concept was to create fresh, new music without compromise, and his ambitions have taken flight with the EP “Khaøs Rising” in 2012 and the forthcoming first full-length album.
